We are excited to announce the upcoming release of version 14.5 of NetBeez. In just a few days, 14.5 will be available to all NetBeez dashboards.
This latest version is packed with several new features and enhancements that have been directly influenced by the valuable feedback we received from our customers. Among the key updates, users can look forward to:
- A daily report that provides insights into remote users’ digital experience,
- An AI-powered summary function that simplifies analyzing alerts,
- Support for cloudflare’s network speed tests.
We believe these improvements will significantly enhance user experience and overall functionality.
Daily Report
This report provides a concise overview of remote users and applications monitored by NetBeez. In developing this feature, we consulted with network managers and help desk analysts to create an easy method for identifying users facing performance issues.
The report is divided into two distinct sections for clarity and ease of understanding. In the first section, it meticulously lists all the remote worker agents who encountered performance issues during the previous day. Each agent’s experience is evaluated, and the report assigns a grade – either good or bad – based on three critical factors: the quality of their Wi-Fi connection, the reliability of their internet service, and the performance of their endpoint devices.
This comprehensive assessment aims to provide valuable insights into the underlying causes of the challenges faced by the remote worker agents. By analyzing these factors, the report seeks to identify patterns or specific issues that may have contributed to the subpar experiences. This ultimately helps to enhance the overall performance and satisfaction of remote workers in the future.
KPIs
In the second section of the report, a comprehensive summary of the key performance metrics for the configured targets is presented. For each individual target, the report details various important metrics. Included are network latency and packet loss, which are critical for assessing overall performance.
Additionally, at the application level, the report provides insights into DNS resolution times and the duration of HTTP GET requests. It also highlights any failures encountered during DNS and HTTP requests, offering a thorough overview of the performance landscape. This information is essential for understanding the efficiency and reliability of the configured targets in real-world scenarios.
The daily report is delivered via email to all dashboard users. NetBeez administrators can disable this report in the “Report schedules” section of the dashboard as well as add or remove recipients.
AI-Powered Insight Summaries
The purpose of AI-Powered Insight Summaries is to simplify the review of alerts and logs. Network administrators who manage many remote network locations and users deal with an overwhelming amount of alerts and logs. Knowing what to prioritize and how to interpret logs can be a daunting task, even for expert users.
This feature enables users to select a set of alerts and, with the click of a button, receive a summary about them. The analysis and summary of the alerts and logs are possible thanks to the integration of a Large Language Model (LLM) with the NetBeez dashboard.
In summary, NetBeez users have the capability to effectively evaluate critical performance issues within their networks. This allows them to prioritize necessary actions that are essential for maintaining the performance and reliability of their network infrastructure. As well as ensuring a seamless experience for users and the applications they rely on.

Cloudflare network speed test
Cloudflare Internet Speed Test is a powerful tool for measuring internet performance. It evaluates download and upload speeds, latency, and jitter while providing a unique Network Quality Score to assess connection quality. Cloudflare’s test provides detailed performance breakdowns based on file sizes and it also tracks packet loss, crucial for real-time applications like voice and video calls.
Beginning with version 14.5, NetBeez is excited to introduce a new feature that allows users to utilize the Cloudflare network for conducting network speed tests. Also, this addition complements the existing options already available, which include NDT and fast.com.
With this enhancement, users will have even more flexibility and choices when it comes to assessing their network performance. This new network speed test option is fully supported by all network agents and remote worker agents, ensuring that everyone can take advantage of this powerful tool to monitor and optimize their connectivity effectively.
Custom server option for NDT
NetBeez has included the NDT network speed test application since version 1.4 back in 2018. With the latest release, we are excited to announce a significant enhancement: users now have the option to select a custom server as an alternative to the previously available auto-select server option.
This new feature empowers NetBeez users to deploy their own NDT servers, providing them with greater control and flexibility in their network testing processes. By utilizing this capability, users can run download and upload speed tests directly to their designated servers. This allows for more tailored and accurate assessments of their network performance. This improvement not only enhances the user experience but also ensures that network diagnostics can be conducted in a way that best suits individual needs and configurations.
Conclusion
NetBeez version 14.5 brings exciting new features designed to enhance network monitoring and performance analysis. With the addition of a daily report, AI-powered insight summaries, and Cloudflare’s network speed test integration, users gain deeper visibility into network conditions and troubleshooting efficiency. The ability to select custom NDT servers further improves testing flexibility. These enhancements demonstrate NetBeez’s commitment to providing innovative tools that empower network administrators.
