Kingston selects NetBeez for proactive network monitoring

By | Press Releases | No Comments

kingstontech_minPittsburgh, PA – Feb. 3, 2016 – Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the independent world leader in memory products, has chosen NetBeez to provide them with proactive network monitoring services.  In choosing NetBeez, Kingston will now have improved network visibility and will be able to more effectively address performance issues affecting remote network locations.  Before implementing NetBeez, Kingston was relied on escalated user tickets for the discovery of remote performance issues.

The increased consumption of cloud services and applications spurred Kingston’s Senior Network Administrator, David Flores, to seek out a monitoring solution that would reduce his team’s response time to issues and improve productivity.  Flores discovered NetBeez at the Interop Las Vegas trade show in 2015, and after viewing a product demonstration and working with a trial installation, concluded that NetBeez was the right solution.

“Netbeez sent us alerts that the response time for the internal targets we monitor were higher than normal on the local lan.  We noticed that the ICMP response time to all our servers in the data center was higher than average,” said Flores. “NetBeez gave us a proactive troubleshooting tip for a problem that could have gotten worse at a later time.”

By | Company, Press Releases, Product | No Comments

cumulusthumbnailAt NetBeez, we are very excited to announce our technology partnership with Cumulus Networks.

Cumulus is the provider of Cumulus Linux, the operating system that has taken the open networking arena by storm. Leading organizations around the world are replacing their vendor-specific networking equipment with industry-standard silicon that runs the third-party software of their choice. This enables the decoupling of hardware from the software that runs on it. Think about it like buying a desktop computer and then choosing to install either Windows, Ubuntu, or Fedora as the operating system. Compare the cost of such a system with an Apple machine that comes prepackaged and zero software and pricing customization flexibility to your needs. Read More

TMW Selects NetBeez for Network and Application Monitoring and Troubleshooting

By | Press Releases | No Comments

Raleigh, NC – April 28, 2015 – TMW Cloud Services, a unit of TMW Systems, selected NetBeez to provide their internal team with monitoring data that enables them to view their networks from new angles. TMW is a leading provider of enterprise software to the North American transportation industry.

Keith Weitz is Director of Cloud Services for TMW and oversees and maintains daily operations for the delivery of application hosting services to TMW’s 600 employees and to many of the company’s more than 2,000 customers. Performance interruptions or problems call for immediate attention. In a recent troubleshooting incident, Weitz’s team was brought in to identify performance issues with a customer’s new software installation.

We realized we needed a solution that gives us different points of measurement to collect the data we needed to effectively determine the cause of the reported issue.  We deployed the NetBeez agents at critical nodes at the troubled site and by running large frame packet tests, we very quickly identified that the problem was with the ISP provider and not our hosting systems. The problem was then able to be resolved quickly,” Weitz said. “NetBeez is a must-have tool for the connected multi-site enterprise,” he concluded.

Our small-sized plug-and-play agents enable our customers to deploy them at remote sites on a case-by-case basis, literally within a day. This has a two-fold benefit: first, it reduces feet on the ground and expensive dispatches, and second, the agents stay at the troubled site 24/7 to collect data,” said Panos Vouzis, cofounder and COO of NetBeez. He continued, “With the newly released WiFi agents, or BEEZ as we like to call them, our customers can monitor their wireless infrastructure from the end-user perspective. And we all know where most complaints come from at each organization…
